JULY FOURTH FUN

This year the fourth was spread over 3 days.  It was great, Ian had extra days off, and we got to spend the whole weekend in vacation mode.  Laura, JD and the girls even came down. And stayed a night at our house.  The kids had a blast.  The night of the 2nd we started some fireworks for the kids before we headed off to the Stadium of Fire with Laura and JD.  Its so much fun to watch the kids Kadrynn was trying to stay as far away as possible and Schaefer couldnt get close enough..to some of them anyway.

Macy is always so cute, She couldnt join in the fun but she makes her own.

Kadrynn didnt like holding these at all.  She would grab it and then throw it on the ground.  Melynn however wanted to play with the sparks.

They all ended up sitting on the grass at the end watching Ian light off the last of them.

We headed over to the Stadium of fire with Laura, JD had to be there early because he was marching in it.  And this picture is from our seats.  Yeah, probably the worse seats in the place, but hey they were free.  JD was pretty upset because he thought we would be on the lower 50 yard line. 

All the areas of military were represented here and JD was one of the marines that marched.

Its just too bad we had a horrible view and couldnt make him out.  But he is the one of the front lower corner.

Then the show started.  CARRIE UNDERWOOD!!  She is so great, I loved the whole thing and I could sing to most of it too so that was fun.  But again the seats were not for viewing, every now and them she would walk out infront like this and we could see here, but most the time we watched the screen.

TWIGHLIGT MANIA!!! 
Oh, yes, Eclipse party baby!

We got tickets to go to the midnight showing of Eclipse.  We had Natalie, Shayla, Megan, Kylie, Heather and her friend, Mallory and Megan.  It was so much fun.  We headed up, got dinner and cookies.  And waited in line for hours to go see a movie we could have seen at a normal hour like normal people, but what can I say, we arent normal.

Yeah, thats my sister in law, hot, I know. Too bad Kylie is looking all cute and normal, this could have been a great shot.

Most of the night was spent taking stupid pictures.

But we did get some good cute ones too.

And to make the night even better, we made shirts.  And we made them that day, they were barely dry by the time we left.  But they looked so cool and I dont know about anyone else but I wear mine all the time.

WASATCH BACK TIME

I love Ragnar!! We have so much fun running and not sleeping for 24 hours!  I know its crazy.  This year we brought Kyle with us, I think he had more fun than any of us, I guess being super fast, super young, and a rookie does that to you.

So I was a solo girl this time.  Ryan started us off at the starting line.

Who ran so fast I couldnt even get good pictures of him. 

He fnished our first legs, and so we sat around for a while, went into town to get some ice and eat.  Then headed up to our next start point. 

 We are never very good at taking pictures at night, and after this pic, we know why.  We couldnt get much to come up.

                                          After my last leg I handed off to Kris and we went to wait for him to finish, some how I got stuck driving because Ian is up next.  I looked back and that is what I saw. PARTY!!

OREM SUMMERFEST

We love orem summerfest.  The kids love to watch the fireworks, parade and they love to ride the rides and eat the food.  We are always able to get family together to go with us.  This year we had Dannys family Lauras family and Grandpa Dingman even came out for the parade.

 This year it was suprisingly cold, so we had blankets and jackets to wrap up in.

  Schaefer and his sensitive eyes.  i am not sure its real but he is always asking for glasses so one of us is usually robbed of ours. 

                      The girls werent as thrilled as Schaefer was to eat but they had a blast playing.

                                   Kenedi and Grandpa Dingman, he is a favorite of all the kids. :)

                              After the parade, we spent a while just walking around and every year there are those people selling glow stuff.  This year we found some dope and talked him into giving us swords for super cheap.  We bought 6 for like 25 bucks or something.  Ended up getting almost half off what he wanted, all because he didnt know how to add.  Hahaha, sucka!

Of course Schaefer went right to playing transformers, this is his favorite move.

Watching the fireworks, Kadrynn didnt want to get out of the stroller.  I think she was scared a little.
