This year Ian got to ride in the Lotoja with my Dad and brother Brian. They had 5 guys on a relay team and Brian rode solo. Mom and I drove with them in the 4Runner. One of Dads partners Jeff, rode the first leg then handed off to Dad who rode the second and Brian rode with him. Then Dad handed off to Ian for the third. Dad and Brian did end up riding the 3rd but never caught Ian. Ian handed off to another of dads partners Larry who handed off to another guy on the team.

They all decided not to ride the 4th leg and skip to the 5th so we all got in the car and drove to the exchange point so they could finish the last 45 miles.

After the 3rd leg was finished we drove to the 5th leg exchange and dad couldnt bend over to get his shoes on, because he was so stiff, so like a good son Brian stepped up.
